TALAKAG - the etymology of which came from the Bisayan dialect LAKAG meaning "to go after” or
“follow in pursuit” and the prefix TA denoting “fondness in doing such”.
In other words, Talakag means “fondness in giving pursuit”.

Election Watch – Talakag 2016

The voting is over and done when the polling stations closed at 5:00pm today.  However, it’s going to be a long night of waiting for the official election results in Talakag.  It’s a long-drawn process as we await the return of ballot boxes, printouts, machines and sim cards from all the barangays to the Sanguniang Bayan Building where the overall results will be totalled.
